The Internet of Things, digital built Britain and beyond Dynamic data is essential to the construction, operation and management of assets. During this session you will hear how Ordnance Survey are supporting the integration of dynamic data into geospatial content and how we are developing our connections with BIM, a Digital Built Britain and data interoperability in Smart, the Internet of Things, 5G connectivity and Connected & Autonomous Vehicles.
Simon Navin MRICS MCInstCES is Programme Manager within the Smart Practice at Ordnance Survey. He currently is responsible for the management, coordination and delivery of OS’s Smart/IoT built-environment sector projects including the UK’s Internet of Things demonstrator project, CityVerve, in Manchester. Simon began his career in the built environment in 1990 and has extensive experience in the environmental management, planning, design, architectural visualisation and construction sectors. He is a Chartered Surveyor through RICS and OS’s representative for Survey4BIM and a member of the CICES Anglia and Central Region committee.
