Sign up to be part of the biggest geospatial showcase in the UK

Visitor registration is now open for GEO Business 2017. This market leading geospatial event will take place in London, from 23-24 May 2017 and, as the showcase for a rapidly transforming geospatial industry, is expected to attract over 3000 professionals from across the globe.

GEO Business has established itself as one of the most important shows in this sector’s busy calendar. By bringing the evolving geomatics and geospatial professionals together, the annual event has stormed it’s way into the geospatial world. In a relatively short period, the show has attracted huge market attention and generated headlines along the way.

Event Director Caroline Hobden puts the success of the GEO Business event down to the team’s close engagement with this important market and its underlying passion for an industry which is now taking centre stage in the planning, delivery and management of global infrastructure assets.

“Our team works tirelessly to deliver an event that industry can be proud of,” said Hobden. “We are out there listening and being guided by the trade associations, societies, exhibitors and visitors to develop an event where there is a real sense of ownership within the community. The support we’ve had, and continue to have, has been phenomenal and it’s this level of involvement that makes this show such a success.”

So, what can you expect from GEO Business 2017? To start with, there is a major free to attend international geomatics exhibition at which visitors will be surrounded by the most exciting new products and services as around 200 companies gather with ideas from across the globe. This will feature some of the biggest names in the sector, including Leica Geosystems, Topcon, Trimble, Bentley Systems and Ordnance Survey, all under one roof and ready to assist you. There really has never been a better opportunity to learn about new ideas and find new suppliers to do business with!

Alongside the exhibition is our cutting edge and hard hitting 2017 conference. Built around the theme of ‘The value of geospatial for a resilient economy’ it will include keynote presentations and panel discussions with some of the biggest names in the infrastructure and geospatial sector. In addition, the conference will feature geomatics / geospatial thought leadership presentations, panel sessions with senior leaders in the geomatics / geospatial industry, and case studies to demonstrate the latest geospatial solutions in action. Across the two day geo-fest event you can expect all the latest in geospatial solutions and ideas to be literally on tap for you to see, hear and discuss! Details of the developing programme will be available early in 2017 at

GEO Business 2017 will also be running a series of free-to-attend commercial workshops at which exhibitors will be able to give detailed demonstration presentations – a unique feature at GEO Business which is not offered at any other geospatial show. Already application to host these workshops are flooding in from exhibiting companies keen to give their audience ‘hands on’ experience of their products and services. The programme will be released early next year.

With so much business going on at the show, visitors will have earned some time for fun. GEO Business will be once again hosting the Gala Dinner – now the must-attend annual industry event at which the whole sector can come together, loosen ties a little and enjoy an evening of fine wine, good food and maybe just a little more ‘geo-chat’.

And back by popular demand is the GEO Business Ale Trail, a huge success on its maiden voyage last year, and which in 2017 will again feature the opportunity to combine a tour around the exhibition show floor with the chance to sample some of the UK’s finest brews.

The benefits of attending GEO Business are clearly summed up by visitors to the 2016 event:

“We left inspired and excited about the potential improvements to our business practices and have since invested in some of the hard and software available at the show” – Richard Birch, design and project engineer, C&C Baseline Architectural.

“The best showcase for geomatics and geospatial business in the UK.” – Jon Bylo, Business Development Manager, Fugro Geoservices.
